Hi! I’m Tanja Russita — a children’s book author and illustrator with over 15 years of experience, and a lifelong artist with a love for life in images.
Alongside my passion for children’s books, I’m also a devoted tango dancer. I absolutely love capturing connection, sensuality, and deep emotion — the kinds of moments that you see at shibari events.
These days, I live in Sweden with my husband, our three kids, and a dog. I continue my illustration work, teach online drawing courses for both kids and adults, and take on commissions of all kinds — from watercolor tango sketches to shibari and any kind of illustration.
